Pathway to Paris - citizens building momentum for climate action

Is there hope for successful international climate policy?

In December 2015, the international community is going to meet in Paris to negotiate an international climate policy agreement. What are the chances that anything substantial will come out of this, and how can citizens support momentum for climate action in the months before the summit?

Joe Robertson of the international grassroots group Citizens Climate Lobby will tell about his experiences with advocating for strong climate policies in the United States and with civil society engagement at the recent UN summits in Lima and Geneva. Advocating for climate action is no easy business and takes patience and can-do spirit. But Joe can also offer compelling stories that give reason for hope.

Joe also organizes the project Pathway to Paris, through which civil society actors exchange strategies on how to help pave the way for a successful outcome of the Paris summit.

Bring your questions and suggestions. Aufsturz serves hot food, hot coffee & tea, and a broad variety of cool beer.

We'll meet in the separate club room that is reserved for us in the back of the restaurant. Pass by the rest rooms and you'll find the door to the club room. The club room is on the same level as the rest of the restaurant - don't take the stairs down to the music room.
