This Global Strategy Intern position will operate at the nexus between public discourse and climate policy advocacy, while focusing on people as drivers of change. The work associated with this Global Strategy Intern position will directly contribute to the building of an always-active Citizens' Climate Engagement Network, that will be launched during the COP21 and will build direct citizen participation into UN climate policy processes, going forward.
The project is managed by Citizens' Climate Education (CCE), in association with Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL). CCL is a US-based non-partisan non-profit with educational programs and lobbying activities [designations of 501(c)3 for CCE and 501(c)4 for CCL]. CCE/CCL's mission is to create the political will for a livable world and to empower individuals to have breakthroughs in exercising their personal and political power. The purpose of this position is to support the expansion of the organization and to support our volunteers.
