Media Team

media-icon.pngOur Media Team helps to coordinate relationships with content producers, media outlets, and to build the technical capacity we will need to help people from around the world be part of our activities in Paris, during the COP21.

Members of the Media Team are also actively producing their own documentary and news footage, and publishing reports on the UNFCCC process.

Citizens' Voice at the Paris Climate Talks

While accredited officials are working behind closed doors in Le Bourget, many thousands of engaged citizens from around the world will be converging in Paris, demanding action, exploring solutions, and expressing the concerns and hopes of millions of others in every country of the world.

Citizens’ Voice aims to be a window for the world on the citizens’ energy of COP21. Every day during the two-week conference, we will be monitoring what’s going on inside the talks and outside in the streets. We are going to be more conversational, approachable, and playful than traditional news sources.  Click here for a listing of daily features and more.

Climate Countdown

from team members Kaia Rose and Nicole Crescimanno

This web-series maps out what scientists, activists, policy makers and citizens are actually doing to tackle this problem. We examine different facets of this complex issue and break it down into bite-sized bits. Join us as we follow the people who are crafting paths toward a pivotal global climate change agreement this December in Paris—COP21.

Context News

from team member Laughlin Artz

It is getting clear that our job is primarily to provoke the conversation, to engage people in the inquiry of the critical connections between language, context and the current state of affairs in the world. Context News is bringing not only information, but context and levers for collaborative action, to its viewers.

#ClimateSign

from team members Hadley Greswold and Sonia Guggenheim

In the face of climate change, the climate sign unites people for climate action. The climate sign, like the peace sign, empowers individuals to show their connection to a global call for solutions. The climate sign can be used across time, and can also be used to build momentum for and at specific climate action events. Climate sign photos can be posted on social media with the hashtag #climatesign.

The People + Planet Project

from team member Natalia Vega Berry

The People + Planet Project (P+PP) is a new global action network designed to activate the Climate Agreements and SDGs post–2015. Geoversiv Envisioning

from Pathway to Paris director Joseph Robertson

Geoversiv is a media, research, design, and solutions-spreading endeavor, that embraces Buckminster Fuller’s observation that “the human brain is Nature’s most powerful anti-entropy engine” and seeks to envision—deliberately and with care and conscience—those over-the-horizon projects, technologies and collaborative capabilities that will foster success in our efforts to reduce entropy and expand sustainability, globally.

  • It’s really true:“The climate sign, like the peace sign, empowers individuals to show their connection to a global call for solutions. The climate sign can be used across time, and can also be used to build momentum for and at specific climate action events.”
